Clinical Internship:
Thank you for your interest in the GLMHC Internship Program.
We offer internship opportunities in our Adult and Child & Family outpatient programs. Interns provide individual and family therapy, co-facilitation of group therapy, and collaboration with other professionals.
In all programs, the minimum expectation is a 9-month commitment, with a schedule that includes at least three work days. Typically an intern is on-site 20 hours a week but this can be negotiated based on the expectations of the student’s school program. Interns must be enrolled at this universities for the entire length of their internship commitment and cannot receive their diploma prior to the end of the internship.

Medical Preceptorships –
On hold due to Covid-19 and provider abilility
This position provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, follow-up, and consultation, under the direct supervision of a Licensed ARNP or the Director of Medical Services. “Direct Supervision” means that all of the prescriptive activities are directly observed by the Licensed ARNP during the internship. The person in this position needs to be flexible and function well with a multi-disciplinary staff. Must be able to work collaboratively with ARNPs, LPNs, MDs, Therapists, Case Managers, and all other agency staff.
